Halloween Jump and Go - 28th October 2021 5.30pm till 8pm - Prize for best Fancy Dress!

Our jump and go events are ideal for first timer competitions so if you haven't competed before and want to have a go get in touch. Open to horse owners and our regular riders.

Rosettes will awarded to all riders.

The classes are Poles, 40cm, 50cm,  60cms.  Pole classes have been introduced for the first timers or just started jumping.

Classes are £12 each for horse owners, £17 per class for regular riders (including horse hire)  and must be pre-entered online https://murton-equestrian-centre.ecpro.co.uk/

If you need to use a riding school horse (regular clients only) please give us your top 3 choices. Please ensure you have already practiced jumping on your chosen horse before the event. Kristina will be available to give tips and help riders warm up.

Times will be given approximate times for your jumping, however it is your responsibility to arrive before the start of your class. Please allow enough time to walk the course and warm up before your jumping round.

Unfortunately we have limited parking therefore we ask competitors to vacate the car park once you have jumped. We will send rosettes out in the post and advertise results on our web page and social media.

Please provide a A5 SAE with large stamp on for rosettes.

Plaiting is optional but wear show gear as far as possible. You can with draw up until 24hrs before online and will be issued a credit, anything after this will receive no credit.

We can provide horses for our regular clients to use £5 each class.

We try to make these events encouraging but there are a few rules for these events.

  • Jumping Penalties: Jumping penalties are assessed for refusals and knockdowns, with each refusal or knockdown adding four faults to a competitor's score.
  • Refusals: Refusals now are penalized four faults, up from three.
  • A refusal that results in the destruction of the integrity of a jump  will not receive four faults for the knockdown, but instead the four faults for a refusal.. A refusal inside a combination (a series of two or more fences with one or two strides between each element) must re-jump the entire combination.
  • Only one short whip is permitted.
  • Body protectors are advised
